On Saturday my husband and I took our children to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, where we joined every other parent of young children in the city.
I love that museum’s structure, particularly its new wing. I wanted to take a whole series of photos of the building’s frame and light, but more pragmatic demands, such as the baby’s nap and Somber Child’s general irritation, took over.
I did manage to sneak one lens-glance at a window.
And I loved the light bouncing off this beam. Clearly I have played quite a bit with the final result. I wanted to make it look like a night club in Iceland.
I wonder what this cavernous building sounds like, when all the people have gone home…..
